Bassist Aaron John Baird, currently on trial with Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt, Germany, attended New England Conservatory (B.M.) where he studied with Donald Palma and Boston University (M.M.) where he studied with Edwin Barker. He has also studied with Frederic Stochl at the Lucerne Festival, respectively, and he received the Ester B. Kahn award IN 2006. He currently plays with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Orchestra of St. Lukes, and freelances in New York City and the New England area.
