Maurice Ravel and Joseph Jongen, two masters of the Franco-Belgian orbit, epitomized the lush post-Romantic
style of the early 20th century. Earl Kim’s haunting “Now and Then,” based on texts by Beckett and Yeats, 
evokes an aesthetic parallel to the poets’ beautifully crystallized images and subdued enigmatic tone.
