Quartet has appeared throughout the world to popular and critical acclaim. Back on
the Andover Chamber Music stage by popular demand, tonight they bring you two
dazzling gems from the Classical and Romantic string quartet repertoire, and then
join artistic director and flutist Julie Scolnik in Mozart’s sunny Oboe Quartet in F,

series appearance, Paul Katz is known to concert-goers the world over as the cellist
of the Cleveland Quartet, which during an international career of 26 years made over
2500 performances on four continents. Hailing from Southern California, Nina Scolnik
makes a long-awaited return to join Katz and violinist Lucy Chapman (Stoltzman) in
the “Dumky” Trio. This concert brings sisters Nina and artistic director Julie Scolink
together in a first-time collaboration with a performance of the formidable Franck
violin Sonata. |
